We believe in
having it all
To us, food can be simple, nourishing, comforting, and delicious at the same time.
You have the right to know where your food comes from. Therefore, every meal kit and packaged food comes with the source of each ingredient. Before ordering, you are also welcome to browse our classic recipes to see if they are right for you.
FARM TO PLATE
We source produce mostly from local farms such as Thao Family Farm of Fresno, CA, heirloom organic rice from Koda Farms, and humanly raised meat such as Jidori chicken and Silky pork from our local Japanese market due to their high standards in quality and animal treatment. All of our fish are wild-caught.
OUR EVERYDAY PANTRY
Real Salt sea salt
Celtic sea salt
Maldon sea salt
Red Boat fish sauce *

WHERE TRADITION MEETS WELLNESS
While we are all about honoring ancient Vietnamese traditions, in our recipes, we make certain modifications to a dish in order to put your health first, not to "Americanize" its favor.
This means eliminating all ingredients that contain gluten, refined sugar, and chemicals. We also sprout rice and beans and pressure-cook them to remove lectins. For this reason, rice and beans are always already cooked when you receive them in your meal kits.
Aside from eliminating artificial sweeteners that contain harmful chemicals, we also limit the use of natural sweeteners that may raise blood sugar levels like cane sugar, coconut sugar, honey, maple syrup, agave, and most fruits.
THE BIG 5 NO'S
Gluten in certain grains, starches, conventional soy sauce, vinegar & other condiments
Common foods that contain GMO such as conventional soy, corn, potatoes and squashes
Refined sugar and other sweeteners that raise blood sugar levels such as corn syrup, honey, agave & maple syrup
Hormones & chemicals, such as those in preservatives, additives and most artificial sweeteners
Highly processed oils such as soybean, corn, safflower, canola, and peanut oil
We do our best to minimize waste in our kitchen by following the traditional Vietnamese root-to-leaf cooking philosophy and asking fresh meal kit customers to order in advance to allow for just-enough groceries.
For packaging, we encourage you to bring your own bag when you pick up your fresh kits. Most of our fresh ingredients are packaged in reusable containers, which we charge a small deposit for. The deposit is refunded as soon as you return the containers to us.
We support various dietary regimens
SPREAD THE JOY OF VIETNAMESE COOKING
Our goal is to make you fall in love not only with our food but also with Vietnamese cooking. This is why we design our meal kit recipes and cooking classes to be simple, fun, and educational at the same time. We want every meal kit to be an opportunity for you to learn how to cook Vietnamese food so that you can also do it all on your own without our kits or recipes.
